How It Works

Camper Evaluation
A NightsOut ranger, who specializes in your area, will contact you via email, text, or phone (your choice) to determine how you want to camp this year. You’ll share what types of camping you enjoy, when you want to go, and if there are specific places you’ve always wanted to visit.

Campsite Hunt
Your NightsOut ranger starts the search. We’ll use our local knowledge of the area you’re interested in, along with our numerous tools to find the campsite you want. And as a NightsOut member, we’ll find you as many as you like.

Same-Day Recommendations
Regardless of where you want to go, how hard it is to get a site there, or your timeframe, your NightsOut ranger will send you recommendations the same day you connect with them. And if these recommendations aren’t exactly what you’re looking for, we’ll use your feedback to do it again until you’re satisfied.

Bookings
The best reservable campsites barely last a few minutes. Once we have your ideal campsites set, we can grab them for you as soon as they become available. We can send you notifications, and then you approve or send back. It’s that easy.

Chia
We have an amazing group of rangers who make sure you camp the best camping. Chia, an Oregon native currently living in the Bay Area, has spent her entire life exploring the best campgrounds up and down the west coast. She pulls a camping trailer when she camps but also always brings a tent for when the mood strikes.
