Best Camping in Oregon
It’s hard to beat the areas Oregon has to offer in the summer and fall. With the beach, mountains, and high desert all within close drive, campers have many beautiful options.
We currently focus on helping campers get the best campgrounds in the Portland area, which has so much to offer all within 1-3 hours of the city.
People in Portland love to camp, though, so getting the best spots is very competitive. Mt Hood has some beautiful mountain lakes, and Mt. Adams across the Columbia River in Washington is less crowded but just as serene. You’re going to find smaller sites and less privacy along the Oregon coast, but the beauty of the ocean makes up for it.
Wherever you’d like to camp, or however you’d like to do it, a NightsOut membership will make things much easier for you this year.
